Blackfish Paddles announces Marco Teodosio joining its athlete squad, strengthening the brand’s lineup of world-class endurance paddlers.

Marco Teodosio, 41, seamlessly blends surfing, racing, and coaching, splitting his time between his local surf spot - Foz do Arelho in Portugal - and the canals of Amersfoort, Netherlands, where he leads sessions at Lakeside SUP.

Known for his endurance and steady determination, Marco recently made his mark by winning the 12th edition of the SUP 11-City Tour Non-Stop Challenge, completing the demanding course in 29 hours.

After competing in the 2022 and 2023 editions, his recent victory highlights the consistency and passion that define his approach to the sport. These same qualities make Marco a natural fit for Blackfish Paddles, a brand deeply connected to endurance paddling and the athletes who push their limits.

His addition to the Blackfish Team underscores the brand’s ongoing drive to support paddlers who embody performance, perseverance, and purpose on the water.

Marco said: I tried the Blackfish Noumea and it felt immediately good, it’s an incredibly light paddle with a very “easy” stroke. Also the environmental awareness of the brand played a big roll. It feels great to be joining such a talented team full of very strong young guns and a lot of very talented ultra distance paddlers, that is my favourite racing discipline :).”

With the race season nearing its close, Marco Teodosio will line up at the Sesimbra SUP Festival in Portugal this November - the final stop of the 2025 European SUP League.
