Dedicated to advancing the next wave of stand-up paddle athletes, we’re stoked to be expanding the pool of young talent across Europe. Welcoming Loranne to the Blackfish Team perfectly aligns with this mission. 

As a Belgian SUP Champion, she’s a versatile athlete with killer long-distance skills, dominating every SUP format she competes in - sweeping podiums and cementing her status as a true SUP national treasure. 

Fresh off a major international win - long-distance gold in the junior division at Planet Baltic in Poland - she’s already stepping up, competing in the elite open class. We can’t wait to see what the new season has in store!

Occupation: Student. I’m also a member of the Scouts, and I spend all my free time out on the water 

Discipline: SUP racing (Long distance as favourite format) 

Board set-up: ONE Edge Pro 2.0 hollow 

Paddles and fins: Salish 460, Noumea 460, and Noumea 500; Fins – Blackfish GT241 and the AC213

Achievements
  • 2025: Belgian SUP Champion in long-distance elite women, long-distance junior, sprint elite women, and technical elite women categories. Internationally, Loranne secured first place in the junior long-distance race at the Planet Baltic SUP Race in Poland. At the Lake Rock Festival (Austria) she finished third in the junior long-distance and tenth in the elite women’s division.
  • 2024: Belgian Champion in both junior and elite women’s long-distance SUP, as well as the Belgian elite women’s technical Champion. At the World Championships in Denmark, Loranne placed 23rd in the elite women’s long-distance category.
